Information Text Regarding the Protection of Personal Data

AYM ELEKTROMEKANİK SANAYİ TİCARET LİMİTED ŞİRKETİ. (Data Controller), taking into account the security of our valued users, primarily for the protection of privacy and the safeguarding of fundamental rights and freedoms, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data* (“Law”), provides this information within the scope of our disclosure obligations regarding personal data.

Pursuant to the Law, personal data is recorded and stored by the Data Controller and Data Processor for establishing a service relationship, ensuring continuity of services, performing our services, and fulfilling responsibilities arising from other applicable laws.

Within this scope, as the Data Controller, we may obtain, record, store, update, reorganize, disclose to third parties, transfer, share, and process your personal information in other ways specified in the Law, to the extent necessary for maintaining the contractual relationship and in accordance with the framework set out by the Law.

Your personal data refers to information that can directly or indirectly identify you, such as your first and last name, date and place of birth, home address, Turkish ID number, Tax Office and Tax Number, driver's license serial number, identity serial number, phone numbers, vehicle license plate, passport number, CV, photographs, images and voice recordings, fingerprints, retina scans, IP address, email address, hobbies, contacts, group memberships, family information, health information and records, medical data, X-ray or MRI records, blood type, country-city-postal code, age, gender, criminal record, bank account numbers, academic information, marital status, information about your children, emergency contact details, disability status, military records, monthly premium and service documents, payroll, and similar data not limited to the above.

Your personal data is processed for purposes such as human resources processes including recruitment, performance evaluation, creation and storage of personnel files, conducting exit interviews, internal operational activities, and ensuring security within the company and its environment. Additionally, personal and sensitive personal data necessary to provide the best service and products to our customers, in accordance with applicable legal regulations, may be processed, stored, and transferred. Personal data is also collected from individuals involved in support services, purchase and sales (commercial relationships), as required by law, for candidates, and for employees.

Personal data may be processed for contacting in the data bank if necessary,

  • For statistical studies,
  • To be presented to relevant institutions for training, reservation, incentive applications,
  • To be presented in court and expert examinations,
  • To be provided to local law enforcement and Organized Industrial Zone Directorates if requested, and may be processed, stored, transferred to the extent permitted by law, and deleted or destroyed after legally determined periods.

Additionally, our Company may process your personal data for other purposes and under the data processing conditions specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law.

Sensitive personal data includes information about a person’s race, ethnic origin, political opinion, philosophical belief, religion, sect or other beliefs, clothing, association, foundation or union membership, health, sexual life, criminal convictions and security measures, as well as biometric and genetic data.

Our Company does not generally request or process sensitive personal data from its users. However, if required by the policies of third parties or organizations for registration purposes, such data may be recorded strictly to the extent necessary. For example, if your identity document for a certified domain includes a “religion” field, your sensitive personal data may be recorded within that document even if not intentionally provided.

Your personal data may be shared with domain registration authorities, domestic and international subsidiaries, legal units, financial advisors, experts and doctors in occupational health and safety, call centers, consultants, and organizations we cooperate with, only to the extent necessary, and in accordance with applicable regulations.

Subject to the exceptions outlined in Article 28 of the Law, the rights you can exercise by applying to our Company under Article 11 of the Law are as follows:

  1. To learn whether your personal data is processed,
  2. To request information if your personal data has been processed,
  3. To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose,
  4. To know the third parties inside or outside the country to whom your personal data is transferred,
  5. To request correction if your personal data is incomplete or inaccurate, or deletion/destruction of your personal data in accordance with Article 7 of the Law,
  6. To request that actions under (d) and (e) be communicated to third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred,
  7. To object to automated processing that results in a negative outcome for you,
  8. To request compensation for damages caused by unlawful processing of your personal data.

You may submit your requests regarding your rights and other requests related to the application of the Law in writing or by other methods determined by the Personal Data Protection Board to our Human Resources Department. Our Company will respond to your requests as soon as possible and no later than thirty days free of charge. Any expenses incurred for fulfilling your requests may be requested from you in accordance with Article 13 of the Law.
